Love this post Spooky! Procrastination is definitely on the dark side, but the 5 second rule sounds like a winner! I will have to pay attention to my thoughts next week and see if I can use it
Hahahaha IZEL!! The opening picture of this newsletter made me laugh so hard 😂😂
I loved all the cat picture, but also felt sad reading about your dad passing and then having to deal with bullies. I'm sending you a big virtual hug 🩷 And love how you are finding your voice here. Look at all those likes comments and substack! It felt like yesterday I read your first post. Keep going girl.
Thank you so much, Marie! You are one of the main reasons for my inspiration to find my voice! Thanks again for the hug 💕 I just saw that the newsletter passed 100 views! Nothing much but it's a first! 🤓✨
I love this rule. It’s very simple and precise. I generally act fast or at least write it down. If I don’t, after the 5 seconds, I’ll usually forget it. I really enjoyed this newsletter and will take heed more to the 5-second rule.
Sometimes, I procrastinate even the five second rule. I have to use the 5 second rule in order to get into the actual 5 second before I start something. I've been a seasoned procrastinator. But this 5 second rule does work, if we are intentional and mindful. I loved your story.
Thanks!! I also like the Thursday appointment, not only “spooky sunday”. My partner told me about this “5 second rule” like 2 months ago, I start practicing the rule in fewer situations that I would have wanted to, but I’m trying to do it more.
The banner is only a little present for the new Stephen king!!! 👻👻 u deserve it, keep pushing on ur dream!!
Simple and effective rule haha. The cat pics even more so :)
Glad you liked it <3
That's nice. Simple and effective. I have also written an article on how to overcome procrastination.

Love Mel Robbins, and the 5 second rule is so useful when getting out of bed in the morning hehe
5-4-3-2-1. Hey great article! Thank you. I have found that I have an unlimited capacity for doing nothing…I’m going to put this to work

Nice trick you got there! It's also very effective, isn't it? Hope this helps you with the alarm! Fortunately, I don't have that problem for now 🤓
